Hours had passed by since Oserian brought Asche home. Asche was in his room, laying in his bed, weakened and unconscious, as he rested. His twin brother kept watch over him as he kept his head low.
"Oserian? How is he?" Came a soft voice.
Oserian looked up to see their sister Kitty. "Still no change, Kitty."
"I'm sure he'll be fine soon." Kitty came over to him rubbing Oserian's shoulders. "He just needs more time to heal, hmm?"
"You're probably right, Kitty, but...You should have seen him. He looked more like father when he trained us. I just wish I could have helped him without him having the blood rage..."
"Shhhsshhh. It's alright big brother. Asche is going to be fine. If it were not for you, he'd still be in that horrifying place. You saved his life." She smiled.
Just as the words came out of her mouth, Asche began to stir. His hands went to his face as he slow sat up, only to seconds later grip his ribs in pain.

He wished he was too.
He loved her more than words could say, and yet her pain was such,
that at times, he feared she wouldn’t make it.
But on nights like these, even when it threatened to consume her,
he became convinced that somehow she would.
